SKLIFESTYLEDESIGNCO is an idea that has been brewing in the back of my mind for the last couple years but it wasn't until recently that the perfect name came to me and I started pouring more of my heart and soul into bringing it from just an idea to an actuality. And thanks to COVID-19 and the global pandemic, I had plenty of time to sit with my thoughts and make all sorts of random jot notes (which I'm sure make sense to no one but me) and heck - I've even ordered business cards.

So what exactly is SKLIFESTYLEDESIGNCO? It's a lifestyle blog where I'm going to share some my fave things - whether it is a product that I suddenly can't live without, a new cute boutique that blew me away with its customer service and products or showcasing a fun subscription box. COVID presented a lot of unique challenges and I know a lot of people turned to online shopping as a way to avoid shopping in brick and mortar stores. And I was no exception.  I discovered some great new stores that definitely went above and beyond, as well as some awesome products that have become regular additions in my life. I've also found some fantastic products available through big box stores - like Amazon and Sephora - that I can't wait to share.

I also want this blog to create some great discussion and dialogue. I've stumbled across some amazing boss babes, small business owners and creators that have greatly shaped and changed how I approach life.  While 2020 has been a complete hot mess, there's a lot of positives that have come about as a result of having to adjust our regular routines and create a new 'normal'. Rural Saskatchewan has a lot offer - perfect sunrises and sunsets, fresh country air and just that 'home' feeling ... but sometimes it does feel like we are in the middle of nowhere when it comes to shopping options.  And that's where SKLIFESTYLEDESIGNCO comes in.
